Racist, rude, and very unprofessional staff. I was trying to help with lodging for someone with a young child in a domestic situation, and they said "you're not welcome here" and "find somewhere else to stay," as they were only concerned with getting money for the room. They claimed to not see the note on the reservation then later acknowledged seeing it but still not properly address it, so I called to cancel after speaking with David at the Reservation Center line. This has truly shown how cruel and hateful the world is, and I was born, raised, and graduated from the area. I would not recommend this property at this point to anyone due to the personal discrimination experienced.
The service was awesome. I enjoyed my stay. Will likely be a recurring guest. There were a few guest that we're loud and noisey but your on site manager accommodated me a resolved my issue. Thanks for a great stay.
Place is nasty. Towels have stains, bed sheets have stains, hair all in the shower. But the main issue was that a few days after I left my card was charged an additional $50. They said that my dog damaged the room. Note:the dog was never left unattended. They said they had photos of the damage but refused to show them to me. I can not get any information out of the facility or the people you report issues to. When I first called the issue in the woman said it was unacceptable what happened and that the manager would get up with me to settle the issues. Never heard from a manager and now when I call the 800 number back they say there is nothing else they can do. So apparently they can just charge you extra without having to prove you actually did anything wrong. So for over $100 I could have stayed some where much nicer.
Looks can be deciven, when I booked it, it looked really good in the pictures. I knew it was a cheap hotel, but I thought that it would be nice. When you walked past the front desk it smelled like smoke!! Both the bottom and second floor hallways smelled like smoke, also our non smoking room! The room was a plain room, it did have a microwave and a nice refrigerator. You had better bring your own soap. When you turned on the water in the shower, it was Hot!! Which I love hot water, but I had a hard time showering due to it just got hotter and hotter. My husband had a really hard time with it. The cold water didn't work. The floors were not sweep, the chair that was in our room moved really easily, and it was nasty under it. The outlet by the sink didn't work. We had booked 3 rooms. They did put them all together..that's about the only thing that was good. One of my daughters and her husband had to go to my other daughters room to shower, their shower had NO HOT WATER!!! Say the least when we come back in September, we are NOT staying at motel 6!!
I have spent thousands of dollars with motel 6. I work on the road so I enjoy motel six foe there clean rooms an the ability to wash clothes on the road. Well I check in about 9pm ask for quarters for washing clothes . They gave me 5 in change then the owner said I could not wash because it could disturb guest. Now mind you it is 9 on a Friday night. So I has to go to walk Mart an buy an out for the next morning since I had to leave at 5am. Well when I came in the where speaking Hindi. Well my wife also do an many more language's. I know little but just enough to know they were making fun of my situation. The owner an 5 other guys. I tried to make my complaint known but they could really care less. This one instance will be the reason I will never ever spend another dime with motel 6.
