They also have a restaurant attached so it’s certainly concerning that the infestation problem could extend to the restaurant. Health department was contacted as well.
The saying is “you get what you pay for.” Well it’s wrong because with Clarion Hotel at Shreverport I got one of the worst experience of my travels and even free it’s not worth it.
The room was cold and the front desk said there wasn't a need to change rooms because everyone was complaining so it may be more of the same. The maintenance man was gone for the day, so we had to endure the coolness of the room. Thankfully we only stayed one night.
We called the manager who stated that he was coming up but after about 10 minutes, he didn’t show up so we got our things and went to the lobby where we found him outside smoking with 2 other employees. He stated that he called the exterminator; however, 5 minutes later he claimed that we lied about the mice BECAUSE he sent the cleaning lady to the room to check and she did not see any...
It was a great stay with my family.. And we had our pee-wee football team there also. The ppl was very nice to the children. decent price and good service. I Would stay there again!
AC Heating units should have been included with renovations.
We were given a first room which was smelly and dark. We got the room changed to one that was certainly brighter but still questionable cleanliness. About an hour in the room my husband saw a mouse but initially did not say anything so not to freak me out, later he saw multiple with going toward his luggage so he got up and pointed it out... needless to say I FREAKED OUT!!!

It's December and the heat doesn't work.
It was under remodeling and had to use service elevator so thats why i gave 4 stars instead of 5. But the indoor outdoor heated pool was awesome as was the Jacuzzi. A great hotel staff was very accommodating and a free shuttle to airport was nice
Rooms are nicely renovated ither than that issue. I paid for two nights. I will be asking for a discount.
