Main reason is a really high pet fee. Yes, it is on the website. Buried in the fine print that you need to search for in order to find it.
The staff was very friendly. The toilet is up against the shower so you have to sit at angle on it to use it. Big stain on mirror and headboard. Smelled like mold in the room. A/c didn't work. Had to call maintenance. Just an old work hotel. A few feet from major road. All you can hear is cars all night.
Unfortunately I have had to stay here multiple times through my company.
I love these hotels. The beds are awesome. Had to yank on the door to get it to lock so watch out for that.
Doubt that we will stay here again. We had planned to stay here on our way back home next week. We've changed our plans.
The lobby, amenities, and breakfast areas are really nice, but the rooms have obviously not been updated in awhile. The room was decent, but the carpet was stained and sticky in spots, the bathtub drain didn't stay open, and there was someone else's soda left in the refrigerator. Also, it smelled like cigarette smoke, even though I got a non-smoking room; I told the front desk and the woman was very apologetic and made a note so I would not be held responsible. Had I pressed the issue, she probably would have offered me a different room, but I didn't want to move my stuff, so I stayed. Overall, not a bad experience, but the rooms could be better.
At night they lock the main door and more than once i was locked out because the card reader outside was broken!
Worst Holiday day Inn I have ever experienced.
Rooms smell like urine, the carpet is sticky and the staff is mostly rude and couldn't care less.
Last night we had no choice. Won't make that mistake again.
