Fairfield Place is located in the historical district of Shreveport LA. The house was built in 1870. The owner has decorated the home in beautiful antiques and Italian themes. The room we stayed in had a very comfortable queen size bed, the theme was done in a hunting and outdoorsy yet with a feminine touch. The service is wonderful, the workers are very polite and helpful. The food is exquisite.
Just had dinner before going to a performance. Delicious! Staff very attentive. Excellent food. Yeast rolls, cherry jello fluff salad, chicken with sour cream gravy, green bean casserole, carrot souffle and chocolate pie. Piano player was playing Christmas carols while we ate. The Christmas decor was over the top.
1/1/2018 - Spent our 30th Anniversary here. We are locals and haven't been here for a while. Wonderful attention to detail. Frigid temperatures outside, so extra blankets to snuggle with. Snacks, cold and warm drinks througout the house. Beautifully decorated home and gracious hosts. Delicious Southern themed breakfast (including meat pies). Host even provided wine for our celebration! Love this place!
