(Update) all went smoothly at closing...still impressed with Holmes Honda as a whole.
I sent out for price quotes to neighboring dealerships (almost all of LA), and Holmes Honda had the best deal around. The other dealerships could NOT beat or match their price. I’m not a fan of the car buying process with negotiating and the long wait times at dealership, but I’ve had a great experience thanks to Holmes Honda’s best, Paige and Nick. From the initial price quote request, Paige and her team were prompt to respond. I appreciate the personalized email messages, her fulfilling my requests (detailed price breakdown, communicating via email, etc.), and their offer for convenience. Paige and Nick made this transaction as smooth as possible and were patient with my many questions. I expected them to have other people deliver my car (the ultimate deciding factor as I live 3 hours away from the dealership) but Nick personally came to deliver it. Their service extended past the end of sale with them checking in with me afterwards.
Over the last few days my wife, kids and I have had an AMAZING experience with two of Holmes Honda’s best, Adam and Cody! These fine gentlemen are top-notch! First, my family and I went to see a Honda Odyssey and Adam welcomed us as if we were already friends. Very personal, humble, and just seemed like an all around great guy. He took us on a test drive, entertained my kids, and even searched for a DVD so they could watch a movie while we drove. He throughly covered all the specs of the vehicle and my wife really appreciated this. I believe Cody is Adams Manager, and he came over and immediately introduced himself; he made me feel welcomed. He crunched multiple and different trade-in possibilities and I was also able to work with him over the phone and text, to include Adam. I really like that they both provided their cell phone #’s, were responsive, and flexible. I know first hand they will go ABOVE and BEYOND for their clients. Here’s the kicker, I’ve provided this review without even closing on a deal yet; that’s how impressed I am with these two fine gentlemen. Should be closing tomorrow! Seth and the manager I talked with did a great job. First, we got a good price on our Honda Pilot. Seth was friendly, knowledgable, and courteous. He has been helpful since the purchase as well. I recommend Seth and the Holmes team when you purchase your next vehicle.
The only part of this experience that could be improved is the communication with their finance person, Layne. He was hard to reach and I didn’t hear back from him much. Overall, I am impressed with the outstanding service, convenience, and diligence from Holmes Honda. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.
James Glassy is hands down the best associate at Holmes Honda. This was my first time buying a car and he made it a quick and easy process for me. The service was phenomenal and he was very patient with me. He made sure to keep in touch with me via text and email. James made sure I got the best deal possible and gave me good advice along the way. Best believe I will recommend Holmes Honda to my friends, family, and anyone wishing to buy a car. I upgraded to a newer Honda Pilot, Bo Free was my salesman--this was by far the most pleasant and easiest transaction with any car buying experience I've ever had. I found a vehicle that I liked on the lot on Sunday and did the majority of "negotiations" via text messages and phone calls, we were able to make a deal and all the paperwork was ready for my signature when I arrived yesterday. Bo was professional and personable, explaining everything in great detail ensuring I understood each step of the process; I appreciate his attention to detail and thoroughness. I also noticed he took great effort to help another sales person who was "shadowing" him; I will definitely work with Bo when I purchase my next Honda.
