This is just a beautiful place. It's an intimate theater with the front row audience close to the stage. Productions are well done and many of the community's most seasoned performers are cast regulars. You can also see fresh new talent when they include their academy students in productions. They present a summer musical as well as a fall to spring season presenting 5 plays or musicals, this year including "Of Mice and Men" and "On Golden Pond." It's good community theater using amateur and seasoned actors. It's a true asset to Shreveport. If you like live theater, you'll like SLT.
Intimate atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Super courteous box office staff. Incredible talent performing great shows.
Child friendly environment. My youngest was attentive from start to finish. Alice in Wonderland Jr. was an extremely enjoyable production. I look forward to returning to view another play. Very professional and welcoming. Truly entertaining!
Great night out in Shreveport, this lovely little theater with high quality performances is a treat not to be missed.
I always love attending plays here! The actors and actresses are professional and so adorable!! :) The theater is very small, so it's a little crowded when the play ends. The characters are always happy to pose for pictures with you! That makes it super fun and a very memorable experience.
