I flagged down a VIP Cab driver in downtown Shreveport last night. He wasn't friendly to be around in the first place, but when we arrived at the destination I wanted to pay with card (did not have any cash on me). He told me they do take cards, but they don't like when people don't have cash... too bad old man. Well, my card kept declining due to an unknown reason. I told him I would go inside and look for cash, never found any, so I went out to tell him and he was gone. Sorry for not paying, but maybe if you'd cheer up and treat your customers like they outta be taught, my card wouldn't have declined!
Will never use this cab company ever again. Poor customer service. Lack of ability to communicate with customer. Waited two hours for cab called at 10:27 a.m. and requested a cab after 11 I called again and I was told that I never called and requested a cab to my location knowing that I did when I requested another one it took an additional hour will never use cab company ever again.
To be honest, you'll probably be stuck having to use this service anyways so just cross your fingers before you do. This is a prime example of why Uber in Shreveport would be beneficial to us all.
Dispatcher was so rude and disrespectful. The cabs are 30 mins to hours late to pick you up and they will cancel a call with out even checking to make sure you are at the location.

Driver super late, rude, and lazy. Sat and watched a mom and three kids - no help with luggage. Cab dirty. Couldn't find us - and hung up on me. Get Uber people! It's awesome!
I've just made a reservation for in the morning. Being handicapped I needed accommodations that called for a tad bit of extra help. The receptionist was kind, gentile, and very comfortable with trying to solve a problem rather than trying to make a problem worse. So... So far, so good. I'll be using them to pick me up the next morning and we'll see how it goes. But as I compare Ace with VIP Cabs I can tell you that the two companies do not come close to to one another in terms of their professionalism. The receptionist at the VIP Cab company was so rude and uncouth it's obvious she hates her job and people in general. I haven't used taxi service in decades so I was truly shocked at how little regard the employees have for their employers. In this day and age, there should be a huge market for jobs in this field making it difficult to get hired. Perhaps the new competition between the standard taxi service and the "Uber" type services will be the business dynamic that drastically recharacterizes the industry, reducing the costs for employing the Louie DePalmas of the 80s.
