Great venue. Looks like it’s being renovated. I’m sure it’s a great place for festivals & shows.
This place is kept pretty clean despite the high volume of people and foot traffic during events. Food vendors are pricey, but that is to be expected on festival grounds.
There for the Revel, liked it but is too pricey for a event that used to free to the public.
The layout needs work. All food vendors are close only to the main stage. If other stages are setup, you have to cross the entire grounds for food and drink.
Popular festival center in the heart of downtown. Updated with two large, covered pavilion on recent years. Home to many iconic area events such as the Red River Revel, Cork, Mudbug Madness, and so many more. Parking is street side or in the many paid lots nearby. Expect to have to walk two or three blocks for a parking spot nearby.
Shreveport Police maintain a presence and the prices are usually fair at events here. Worth visiting Shreveport for one of the above yearly festivals.
