New vehicles.....great customer service....quick & easy process as long as you have your credentials in order......but no discounts for veterans
For 2 years now, I've been renting cars from the Shreveport-Barksdale location for weekend trips and special in-town events where needed. The team at this location is very professional and efficient, and from the get go, they've always made sure that I had an economy or compact fuel-efficient car (because that's what I like), a ride to and from home from the rental office, and some kind words to send me off on my journey. Enterprise is my first choice for car rentals, and the service I receive from this location is one of the main reasons why!
If I could I wouldn't give any stars. The two women that I encountered there today were unfriendly, rude, and acted like they didn't want to help at all. Not only would or could not answer questions but were rude to not only myself but my husband. Shame on how the company would allow someone like that to run a customer base bissnass. I honestly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I wish I could say enterprise corporate helped with the issue but apparently taking the word of a laying employee/employees is how the company works. Lying about braking a window wow. I will never return or recommend enterprise to anyone I know.
All the requirements outside of taking the money and proof of insurance should be specified before the customer gets there instead of giving them the run around once there and wasting the customers time. Also, the status of the customers bill is none of enterprises business and should only be used to verify the address of the client instead of asking if I owe anything on said bill. And if such a time comes where you have no cars available you should not accept the reservation to begin with. Dealing with this company has been so frustrating and will not get my business again.
Total lack of communication. Attempted to rent a vehicle to drive to an out- of-town work trip. No one was available for the courtesy pick me up to get vehicle at my scheduled time. That was okay. I told the employee I would get a ride because I needed to be on the road. Once I arrived at the facility, they had NO vehicles available for my rental!!!!! NONE!!!! I didn't even receive a phone call. As you can expect, I will now be late for my meeting.
