This is by far the best veterinary hospital I've ever brought my dogs to! No other hospital is as thorough or caring as the team here. Everyone here is so compassionate, caring, kind and friendly. They take the best care ever of my fur babies! The grooming and boarding team is also phenomenal! Thankful to have such a great place to bring my babies to.
I would give them 10 stars if I could. They saved my baby Chloe and helped my baby Ava. Dr. Foret and Dr. Martinson are AMAZING!!!
The best place and the only place I will take my fur baby!! He had been to other vets but then I was told about University Vets and it was the best decision I have ever made!! Pete loves their kisses and hugs!!!
I've never gone to such a wonderful veterinarian! We see Dr Adam Foret, but all of the doctors there are excellent! I feel comfortable seeing any doctor. I have a diabetic dog and they are always the doctors I depend on for his care. They not only provide state of the art care, but are always very up to date on current treatments! Every staff member is very friendly. They are always so kind and loving to my little guy. I can't sing their praises enough!
I've been using UVH for a year now since we've moved to Shreveport. I picked them because they had good reviews, my neighbor recommended them, and the facility seemed new and clean. We've seen four of the vets at UVH in the past year -- Drs. Mirts, McNair, Spivey, and Gregorio. They are friendly, competent vets. But today I made the decision to change vets because, frankly, I've been putting up with their incompetent staff (mainly receptionists) for a year now and cannot deal with them any longer. Every time I call to make an appointment, ask a question, or anything the receptionists either doesn't know what's going on or takes forever to give me an answer. Candice is one of the competent ones that can answer questions but the rest are just clueless. I've been put on hold so many times, longer than 5 minutes each time, which is so unacceptable. Their fees are very high compared to surrounding vets, but the vets themselves are no more competent or compassionate than other vets out there. I've used a lot of vets due to moving and can say that most all vets are very kind and caring but the reception staff are knowledgeable, quick, and responsive, UNLIKE UVH. The straw that broke the camel's back today is the WEEKLONG wait for a simple heart worm test result. I've had to call their office three times this week to see if results were back -- which was a big hassle because I was put on hold for so long every time. It's the end of the week now and haven't heard from them or anything. I called another highly rated, reputable vet in town and have made the switch. Bye, UVH, apparently you don't want my money!
