If you own a cat DO NOT bring it to this place! I found a few bumps on my young cat and brought him to the Dog & Cat Clinic. Throughout the entire exam the doctor had a solemn attitude and seemed uninterested in my pet. She was not gentle with my pet and held him down very roughly on the exam table. After examining him she told me she had no idea what it was and wanted to do a biopsy. They wanted to run unnecessary tests for diagnosis and the fee was over $500.00! I decided to get a second opinion, because I myself am in the medical field. I brought my cat to the Cat Doctor two days later and upon examining the bumps for a minute, she immediately knew what it was, stating that it was a very common issue with cats. The treatment was a simple steroid shot and the Cat Doctor performed several simple checkup procedures that the Dog and Cat Clinic failed to even address. If you care about your cat don't take them to the Dog and Cat Clinic!!
Great friendly staff always take care of my pawed family member. They offer boarding too for a reasonable price.
After got him and take him out of that place, he pooped 2 time and peed 2 times before jumping to the vehicle.
I don`t recommend to drop your pet there for boarding. Had to dropped my German shepherd puppy for two days. At the time for picking him up, they told me that he chowed and torn his collar and I couldn`t imagine how a dog can chew on his collar.
I have had nothing but positive and amazing experiences with the Dog and Cat Clinic. Dr. Brown has been taking care of our animals ever since moving to Shreveport. She has helped me with my tripod cat who was not healing and found alternative therapies that my previous vet was not able to recommend. All the vet techs and staff have been so great to myself and truly care about their patients. I highly recommend the Dog and Cat Clinic and Dr. Brown!
I really feel good about the care I get for my pets. The clinic is flexible and conveniently located and everyone there is friendly and competent. Always a friendly face! The Dog and Cat Clinic is quite a bit overpriced, but for the piece of mind I get from such good care, I continue to pay my bloated bills. I have been a client for 8 years, and it should be said that I have not shopped for a new vet, so I don't know about others' level of care vs price. My dog is always excited to hit the door there and doesn't put up a fight when they take her back. so I feel good about that. I will remain a customer and I recommend you give Dr. Brown a shot and treat your pet to a level of care that you can sleep easy on. They have a good rewards program too where you get discounts on services. Stop by, get a cup of coffee, and visit with the staff and notice how happy the other clients are. You don't see that everywhere.
His tongue was very dry and I didn`t start going back to home. Had to gave him enough water before heading out to the house.
I don`t know how they take care of my puppy. It is a shame
