Shreveport needs more places like this. The atmosphere is amazing, the view is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. The food is delicious, and the deserts are heavenly (strawberry shortcake is best I’ve ever had). Best part is that it’s modeled around sustainability, which in my opinion, is the best feature.
Beautiful place with great appetizers and flatbreads. Perfect for a quick bite after visiting the aquarium. Service was excellent!
The food was so fresh! The pulled pork sliders & the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizers were to die for! We sat on the patio - the heaters kept us warm. We had a beautiful view of the river, & the Christmas lights. Our waiter Eric - was friendly & helpful. I will definitely be eating here again! The one thing I would recommend would be to play some nice background music.
I was so excited and anxious to try out the new Shreveport aquarium’s Salt restaurant .Ever since I first heard about it on the news . So I stopped by last night after work to test it out for the first time. I was sadly disappointed in the service I received & the lac of choices on the menu. I expected the menu to have a little more options then what it did. I also felt like their menus were very last minute and not really thought about. The menu I was giving last night was on computer paper and a clip board with water marks making it hard to read the full options to a couple of the Entrées on the menu. That’s not really something you expect to see In a higher end restaurant. That’s something you Might expect from your local BBQ Place ..Other then that I loved the view of the red river and the classy laid-back atmosphere.
Our first time to SALT was excellent!! We went with another couple and they also enjoyed it. The happy hour specials food and appetizers were really good. I read previous reviews from when they first opened and were not great but after speaking to our server (Eric who was awesome), after some menu and management changes, looks like it worked out. I recommend those previous customers go back and try it again.
