I am very pleased with The Glen. They have an excellent staff and are very caring people. Their facilities/community are first class. I highly recommend their organization.
We had a bad experience there about three years ago, and I wouldn't even be writing this if we hadn't gotten a stupid letter this past week asking us to donate after my aunt has been away from there for years. My aunt had cancer. She was on a special diet that they COULD NOT get right no matter who we talked to. The nurses were oblivious, and the dietary staff absolutely did not care about her special needs. They're all about the residents unless the residents REALLY need something, then they're a nuisance and believe me, they let the family know they don't care. Everyone there seems clueless, and apparently they still are if they're sending donation requests to a deceased person's family.
