I had the most embarrassing experience this afternoon while being fingerprinted for a background check. I have had many fingerprinting with no difficulty. The fingerprinter made me stand behind her and back a distance from the print card. She told me to place my finger on the ink pad which required me to reach. She told me to relax my shoulder and elbow which is impossible to do . She kept giving the same instructions over and over again. She shook my hand and arms. Then at the end, she stated that there were problems with the prints and they my be rejected. Then she told me to go home, drink tea and relax! I will never go back down there again. I'm going downtown from now on.
The officers I dealt with during my auto accident (CPL Bass) was top notch. I have never interacted with more respectable officers on any occasion. I also had to deal with a stolen item issue the same day. Again the officers who responded (Flores) along with the dispatchers I spoke with were all the best I have ever interacted with. Thank you for making a terrible experience calming for myself and my children.
I am very thankful to SPD for recovering a stolen truck for me. They were very accurate in obtaining specific details that lead to apprehension of the suspect and more importantly recovering my vehicle. Thank you SPD!
Friend's truck was damaged in a hit & run in Home Depot parking lot. The officer that assisted (CPL Mendels) was extremely professional & polite.
