I was looking for a new salon and this place far exceeded my expectations! I called for a color change appointment and was offered several appointment times within the next week. When I arrived, I didn't wait more than 15 minutes for my appointment. There's a refreshment bar that you can help yourself to while you wait which was great. I was also given a tour of the place by the owner who was so welcoming and nice! I think the staff are very sociable and I saw them helping each other out with different needs which says a lot about their good teamwork, especially being such a busy place. I had my hair done by Sophia and she did an excellent job. She told me everything she was going to do and answered all of my questions. I love the way that my hair turned out! The price I paid is about what I have paid at any other salon and isn't too expensive. Definitely fair and affordable! I will definitely be coming back in the near future for another appointment. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this salon!!! The staff is amazing and make sure you get EXACTLY what you want. They will go the extra mile to go above and beyond your expectations. I have the worst social anxiety and I'm very attached to my hair but they made me feel at home and were exceptionally kind. Their prices are great and their service gets as many stars I can give because 5 isn't enough to show how awesome they are. I will be going here for as long as I'm in Shreveport and will promote their business every chance I get. Accept nothing less than the best. Go to Chemistry Hair Salon. Treat yourself!!!!
This has become my go-to hair place after some bad experiences with other stylists in the area. Ariel is absolutely fantastic and never disappoints. She's thorough with her consultations before every appointment and really gets the clearest understanding possible of what I want before picking any tools up. The salon is cute and has been updated considerably since I've been going. There's a cute retail area and refreshments. My only big critiques are that the waiting area is tiny and the chair is uncomfortable, and the receptionists lack personality or hardly respond to you when walking through the door at times. And hang on if you try to hold a conversation because it won't last long. Haha But, all in all it's a great place, and my minor dislikes won't stop me from coming here to get my hair done!
