No one wants to go to an Endodontist, but both my visits with Dr. Gilmer were very pleasant. His receptionist was friendly and efficient, his dental assistant was very professional and friendly, and Dr. Gilmer conducts his practice with excellence, and unlike many doctors and dentists, he actually has a personality. He is concerned about his success with patients and conducts follow ups to check on his work with those he works on.
Dr Gilmer has done 2 root canals on me and the last one was in April 2017. I went to see him on a Wednesday and he checked me out and gave me a prescription to take until I came back for the root canal that following Monday . On that Thursday evening I was in unbearable pain and I called and he asked did I take the medicine and I told him that I hadn’t because I had to work and he told me to take the medicine to relieve the pain and told me that he would call me the next day on that Friday and if I was still in terrible pain he would come in on his off day and do the root canal because they close on Friday’s . I did leave work and go take medication . He called me that Friday, Saturday, and I think that Sunday too to make sure I was not in pain and I was doing okay and he told me well I’ll see you early Monday morning. I have never had a Dr himself call to make sure I was doing okay. So any root canal my family needs is going to his office.
I went to Dr. Gilmer back on October 6, 2016 who was recommended by my dentist, Dr. Faducia, and I was a little nervous because it was my first root canal and I have to admit he did a descent job and I really had little to no pain!! I fully recommend him.
