Will not take checks . Charge an extra fee if paying with debit card. Bring back birth certificates to the health unit. Oh and the price went up significantly !!!! Highly disapointed in shreveport

The stairway to the mezzanine where all criminal filings must be done is very poorly lighted. Coming down from the mezzanine the last several steps are particularly dangerous as there is no lighting in that area. I have made a complaint to the grounds/maintenance staff and hope for improvement. Patricia A. Gilley
