Awesome
I just discovered that we've had only one review and that was five years ago! I've been a member of Grace Community since 1995 so you could guess that I LOVE my church. We've just recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first worship service, so relatively new as churches go but now we've been around long enough that I'm sure we are here to stay. I think the thing I love most about the worship service is the modern music led by a skilled band. The congregation is enthusiastic, warm and friendly. EVERYONE, really I mean EVERYONE is welcome. When you visit, I hope you will dress the way you feel comfortable, most people wear "jeans and T-Shirts" or express their personal style. If you are looking for a church with a vibrant ministry with children and youth, you found it. If you are looking for a church where people live out what we say we believe, you found it. If other churches have turned you away or just turned you off, you will find something different here; acceptance. If you are shy or housebound, join us on the internet. Every worship service is available live streaming on the web. If our worship times don't fit your schedule, you can access previous sermons at your leisure. Hope you will join us!
Nice and inviting. Nice people. Has a great knitting group that meets there.
Gave this church multiple tries over the years and should have learned my lesson after the first couple of scandals. My criticism today is driven by the fact that I actually care and don't like Christians being led astray. It makes my stomach churn to hear their sermons. Ear tickling platitudes basically preached on a childlike level pretty much describes their delivery method. But at their core, theologically, there is no substance to their message. I have heard them attack the Bible, especially the Old Testament and reduce God to being at the mercy of our circumstances, lending a comforting hand and crying with those who are hurt. I could go into a diatribe about post-modernism and moral relativism and all of those social reforms that reduce Jesus to a sideline that fills in the gaps where reason fails. But, I leave it to you to research all that for yourself and you will see that Grace is pretty much carrying the banner for these movements. If you want to be comforted through your sin and struggle, they will be there. They may even hand you a Quran, as mentioned in a recent sermon, if that's what you are into. But otherwise, don't go there to learn Biblical truths about salvation through Jesus Christ and the punishment for sin is death. Just grab your free coffee and enjoy the safe space.
Great place to worship everyone is excepted with open arms
