The Norsworthy makes a point to feature local, regional, national, and even international artists in their beautiful space. If you can, make a point to attend a reception! Not only is it free to attend (just like normal gallery hours), but there are plenty of goodies and beverages to enjoy during opening/closing receptions. There is also a variety of pricing for all the art featured in the space. From one of a kind handmade artisan jewelry and accessories to the main pieces featured in the gallery, you're bound to find something you'll love and take home with you! Also, it should be noted, if the gallery is not open on a particular day, you may always call to make an appointment to view the pieces!

Norsworthy Gallery at 214 Texas Street in Downtown Shreveport is a wonderful combination of small town charm and big city talent. The gallery is owned by a lovely couple who -through sweat equity- completely rehabbed a 100+ year old building and live above the gallery. The gallery is named after noted regional artist Gwen Norsworthy, and co-owner Christine is an award-winning artist in her own right. The gallery rotates exhibits monthly and loves giving up and coming local and regional artists their first opportunity to find a larger audience. The gallery also has great price points, truly something for most budgets. Art lovers are always welcome to come in and browse; Christine is always willing to share her art knowledge. It's a wonderful space; well worth a stop!
